Perfect Your Fit
Looks can be deceiving. At first glance our Pit Boss may look like many other half-helmets in the cruiser category. Scratch the surface, though, and you'll discover quality that sets it above the competition: A lightweight TriMatrix (carbon/Kevlar/fiberglass composite) shell, an innovative Speed Dial fit system that prevents the "lift and slippage" plaguing most other half-helmets, a drop-down internal shield in Dark Smoke that provides on the fly protection from the sun, and a removable neck curtain offering cold weather protection and speaker pockets for a convenient way to add audio enhancement. Snug the Pit Boss onto your head and thumb the starter button - one ride will confirm the Pit Boss as the King of the Road. Availability, certification, color, and pricing may vary per region. If outside of the USA, please check with your authorized local dealer for more information.

Great Helmet and Great Company
Bought my Pit Boss 5 years ago. It's very lightweight. It fits and looks great. The drop down shield protects my glasses, and the neck curtain is handy when it's colder. Somehow, the Speed Dial wheel broke. Bell didn't have a replacement and, after I sent a copy of my receipt and a picture of the broken wheel, they sent me a new helmet. That replacement helmet kept my skull intact when I was T-boned and sent 100 yards down the road. Bell's earned my business with a great product that they back up. Time to replace that helmet, and I'm looking forward to my next Pit Boss!

Great Helmet, Even Better Customer Service!
I've been using Bell helmets since the '70's for Street Motorcycle use (Tour Star and Star II's) and competitive Motorsports / Drag Racing. They're one of the few that have maintained Snell compliance for all of those years and NHRA requires that endorsement to run events on their tracks.
I ride a big V-Twin and wanted a half helmet for the warmer months. This helmet fit my large, round dome really well - without giving me "mushroom head". The flip down sun visor is great, allowing me to wear my progressive lens glasses underneath without issue. The detachable ear / neck extension is great on days when the temperature fluctuates and I need something that changes with the conditions. It also provides enough wind-screening to allow me to ride without ear plugs.
I'll continue to wear Bell helmets until I stop riding / racing. I have no reason not to.
***I swapped out the sunshield with a clear shield and broke one of the attachment points in the process. When I wrote to Bell looking for the parts to repair it, they said none were available, but to send them a picture of the damage and my receipt. The sent a replacement helmet to me - no charge, which arrived within a week!
That's Excellent Customer Service - in ANYONE'S book.

Made in China
Very disappointed to see this helmet is made in China. If I'd known that in advance, I'd never purchased it.
