A Video installation and Sculpture, inspired by Nam Jun Paik’s 1973 Global Groove and Rube Goldberg machines, modifying a jumping dog toy and gymnastics ribbon an creating a useless and frivolous machine that can do the job of a human; a ridiculous job that a human doesn’t really have to do anyway. An exploration of necessity, machinery and humour.

Exhibited as a video projection, with the physical machine.

Designed and Filmed by Ash Bell.
